Whoo! More greyscale!

Ahem.

This be Shirogane Kyoshiro (Kyoshiro the Silver) of Ginga Densetsu Weed fame (yes, Weed. Perhaps the most unfortunate name in all of anime, with the possible exception of Mr Satan). He is easily my favourite character in the whole series – he’s badass, ruthless and has no issues with using violence, unlike certain characters (read: Weed is a wuss).

And yes, he has a Hitler-moustache marking. I think Yoshihiro Takahashi is trying to tell us something.

With regards to the actual piece, I funked up the right side of his face (our left) and his tongue, and the perspective on the muzzle is all wrong, but other than that I’m really pleased. I have a feeling he’s about to go on one of righteous-fury induced rampages he enjoyed so much. Seriously, if he had a proper named attack (a la the Battouga), it would totally be called Righteous Fury (Tadashii Kyouran?). Also, I am really proud of the fact that I got all his scars right (yes, the vertical scar on his left cheek is accurate – the animators just get lazy and forget it regularly).

The animation is awful in parts, and it’s obscenely violent (like, it would give a PETA activist a heart attack violent), but it truly is awesome. Go watch it. Now (Kyoshiro comes in at episode 12 by the way).
