Description
[WARNING: Big file. I mean big.]
OH MAH GAWD SHOES.
I LIVE.
I LIIIIIIIIVE.
Ahem.
Anyway, I was messing about in Photoshop when I had a brainwave. I've been using the multiply method for colouring lineart for a while, but I'd never thought of just flattening my colours and laying them over my lineart rather than hand-painting the colours onto the lineart as I used to do.
This tutorial can be used with any version of Photoshop that supports clipping masks, which I am 99% sure is most of them. I know the CSs have them, but I'm not certain of the others. I did this in PS Elements 6.0, but I know for sure that at least PSE 2.0 has them as well.
I more or less just slapped this together on a whim as I thought this might help people. If it does help you, then great! I don't mind if you don't comment, but they are nice.
